Best Fruit for Grinding in Blox Fruits

Grinding speed is decided almost entirely by how many enemies you can hit at once, which is why the best grinding fruits are rarely the best PvP fruits.

What actually makes a fruit good at grinding

Area coverage first, then range, then mobility. Damage matters least, because quest enemies do not have enough health for damage to be the bottleneck.

A fruit that hits six enemies for moderate damage clears faster than one that deletes a single enemy instantly. This is why PvP tier lists mislead people who are still levelling.

Top pick: Gas

Gas has the best area coverage in the game for farming. Wide, reliable, and comfortable at range so you take less damage between pulls.

Its demand stays high specifically because grinding never stops being relevant, which also makes it easy to trade on later.

Close second: Leopard

Leopard is the Third Sea grinding standard. Its movement speed between enemy groups is the underrated part — you spend less time travelling and more time clearing.

It also holds trade value more steadily than almost anything else, so it is a safe place to park value while you use it.

Best budget option: Buddha

Buddha does not deal area damage itself. It makes your existing melee and sword attacks hit a much larger area, which achieves the same result far more cheaply.

If you have invested in a sword or fighting style, Buddha multiplies that investment. It remains the single best value purchase for a levelling player.

Early game: Magma or Flame

Magma gives solid area damage at a price a First or Second Sea player can reach. Flame is weaker but nearly free and applies burn damage that finishes enemies you have moved past.

Both are stepping stones. Trade them on the moment you can afford Buddha.

Two gamepasses pair naturally with a grinding build: Fruit Notifier if you also hunt spawns, and Dark Blade as a strong early sword while you level.

What not to grind with

Portal and awakened Dough are excellent fruits and poor grinding tools. Buying either while you still have levels to farm is a common and expensive mistake.

If you are unsure whether an upgrade actually helps your current situation, check what you would be giving up in the value calculator before committing.

Questions

What is the fastest grinding fruit in Blox Fruits?

Gas, on area coverage. Leopard is close behind and better for travel speed between enemy groups in the Third Sea.

Is Buddha still the best fruit for levelling?

For melee and sword builds, it remains the best value option because it extends the reach of gear you already own.

Should I buy a PvP fruit while I am still levelling?

Generally no. Portal and Dough are strong in fights and slow to grind with, which stalls your progression.

Before any trade, total both sides in the Blox Fruits value calculator. It takes ten seconds and it is the difference between trading and guessing.
