Top 10 Worst Trades to Avoid in Blox Fruits
Most players who get scammed were not careless. They were rushed, flattered, or shown something that looked almost right.
1. Dropping the fruit first
The oldest scam in the game and still the most successful. Someone says the trade window is bugged, or that they cannot store your item, and asks you to drop it on the ground so they can pick it up and send theirs back.
There is no bug. There is no storage limit that prevents a normal trade. The moment your fruit hits the ground it belongs to whoever grabs it.
2. Trusting a middleman
A third player offers to hold both items to make things safe. That player is almost always the scammer's alt or friend. Real middlemen barely exist in casual trading.
The in-game trade window already does what a middleman claims to do: both sides confirm simultaneously. If the window can handle it, you do not need a person.
3. Confusing permanent with physical
Not a scam, but it costs more value than most scams do. Someone offers a 'Kitsune' and you assume perm. They meant physical. The gap is roughly eight times.
Fix it by naming the version out loud before agreeing. Our guide on permanent versus physical fruits covers the full gap.
4. Accepting during a countdown
Any urgency in a trade is manufactured. 'I have to go in one minute', 'someone else is offering', 'accept now or I withdraw'. Real traders wait while you check a value.
If somebody will not let you spend ten seconds in the value calculator, they are telling you something about the offer.
5. Buying into hype immediately after an update
A fruit gets buffed, everyone wants it, the price spikes forty percent in two days, and then settles well below the peak two weeks later.
Buying at the spike is how you lose value while doing everything else right. Let a reworked fruit settle before you commit real value to it.
6. Trading away your grinding fruit for a PvP fruit
The calculator says W. Your account says otherwise. Swapping Gas or Leopard for Portal is a value gain and a progression loss if you still have levels to farm.
A win on paper that slows your account down for a week is not a win.
7. Overpaying for demand you do not need
High-demand fruits carry a premium because they are easy to resell. If you are buying a fruit to keep forever, you are paying for liquidity you will never use.
Conversely, low-demand fruits like Gravity or Pain are often the best value per unit of power β you just have to accept a slow sale later.
8. Multi-item trades you have not totalled
Four small items against one big one is where the maths gets fuzzy and where losses hide. Nobody adds four numbers accurately under pressure.
Put every item in on both sides. The calculator exists precisely for this shape of trade.
9. Cross-trading for Robux, Nitro or other games
This breaks Roblox's terms of service, has zero protection, and is the single fastest way to lose both your items and your account.
There is no recourse when it goes wrong, because the trade should never have happened.
10. Trading with someone who 'proved' they are trustworthy
Screenshots of past trades are trivially faked. Vouches in a Discord can be bought or staged. A profile with high playtime proves nothing about intent.
Reputation is not a substitute for the trade window. Use the window regardless of who you are dealing with.

Questions
What is the most common Blox Fruits scam?
Being asked to drop your fruit first, usually justified with a fake claim that the trade window or storage is bugged. No such bug exists.
Can I get my items back after being scammed?
Almost never. Neither we nor any value site can recover items. Report it to the official Blox Fruits Discord and Roblox support, but treat the items as gone.
Is using a middleman ever safe?
In casual trading, no. The in-game trade window confirms both sides at once, which removes any reason to involve a third person.
Before any trade, total both sides in the Blox Fruits value calculator. It takes ten seconds and it is the difference between trading and guessing.
